Contests:
The Band in 2003 - 4 started competing again after a period of some 10 years.
It used to play in several mini band contests - competing in Grade 2.
After several years of not competing due to lack of numbers - or rebuilding, the
band started competing again in the 2003/4 contesting season after being
relegated to Grade 4.
The Band competes in the Medley, Music Set, Street March, Dress and Drum
Majors Display events.
Results To Date:
- Nov 2003 - Auckland Highland Games - 1st overall
- Jan 2004 - Waipu Highland Games - 1st overall
- Feb 2004 - Paeroa Highland Games & Tattoo - 1st overall
- Mar 2004 - NZ National Contest - 1st Overall - Grade 4 Title
- Mar 2008 - NZ National Contest - 2nd= Street March - Grade 3
